Totally disrespectful and rude! The price they quoted me over the phone (after I picked out the carpet I wanted - they had already measured) was $120 more when the bill arrived. The installers, also the owners, were incredibly rude. I was made to feel uncomfortable in my own home. To add insult to injury, they left the old carpet and pad behind. I didn't discover this until I went out to my car. BTW, they didn't say bye, we're done, everything ok...Nothing! I didn't even know they were leaving until I heard the engine start, crazy.
I called and asked the receptionist to have the owner call me to discuss leaving the old carpet behind and guess what, I haven't heard a thing. I can only assume that they were angry because I purchased a wood floor from a competitor after asking them for a specific wood they didn't have. To be fair, they did try. I don't get it, surely these things happen all the time where someone looks but doesn't buy all the flooring from them. I honestly have never seen a business act so unprofessionally. It's very disappointing and even a bit unsettling. I can honestly say I've never seen anything like it.
